Step and shift forward onto left leg
press forward with left palm to strike at face height
Cloud Hands, Single Whip, Palm Strike Five repetitions of these movements from the Wu 108 Slow form, filmed from front and back view to help my students to learn the movements.

Legs stay stationary body continues to twist
Right eg on left side, left arm on right side
Untwist, right leg and left hand meet in middle

Left high presses forward
Weight in front right leg
Body balanced

Step forward with left leg
Weight shifted onto left leg
Left hand guarding inside of right arm

Right hand circling from left side to right side breathing out
Hand movement is controlled by the turning of the waist, not shoulder
Watching the right hand moving with your eyes
Gentle like a small bird is sitting on your palm and you don’t want to disturb it

Left hand moves from right to left, breathing in
Left hand turns at end of movement, breathing out
Follow left hand with eyes
Relaxed like slowly cracking a whip
Single Lotus, Brush Knee, Lower Punch, Single Whip Five repetitions of these movements from the Wu 108 Slow form, filmed from front and back view to help my students to learn the movements.

Hands circle over head, don't look up with head
Eyes watching straight ahead, sink weight back into right leg
Whole body sinks down, keep body upright, arms parelel with ground

Weight in back left leg
Hands crossed, right hand in front
base of left small finger touching base of right thumb

Left leg sweeps up to right, balanced
Right hand, lef leg to right side
Left hand forms hook to left at 45 degrees

Step and shift forward onto left leg
press forward with left palm to strike at face height
