Wu 90 Heaven & Earth Sword Form

The Heaven and Earth Form was created by Wu Jian-Quan and is the first of the two main Wu Tai Chi Jian (double edge straight sword) Forms, it can also be known as First Row Sword and has a similr feeling to Slow Form. It contains 90 movements and is usually the first weapon form that is learnt in the Wu system. This video is of Ma Yeuh-Liang demonstrating it.

Wu 56 Seven Star Sword Form

The Seven Star Sword Form was created by Wu Jian-Quan and is the second of the two main Wu Tai Chi Jian (double edge straight sword) Forms, it can also be known as First Row Sword. It contains 56 movements and is considered a more advanced weapon form as it contains many balancing postures and requires a high skill in control. This video is of Wu Ying-Hua demonstrating it.

Wu 98 Single Broadsword Form

The 98 Single Broadsword form was created by Wu Jian-Quan and has a stronger feeling closer to the Fast Form, it is often the second weapons form to be learned in this system. Where as the straight sword forms have more a yin feeling this form has a stronger yang feel. This form is demonstrated by Zhou Zhong-Fu, 5th generated Wu Tai Chi.

Wu 56 Double Broadsword Form

The Wu 56 Double Broadsword Form was created by Wu Jian-Quan, it is more difficult to master and at this time I have no video available of it. this form has nearly dissapeared and was kept alive by Ma Yueh-Liangs indoor dsciple Li Li-Qun who was foccused on keeping the original system intact. This form is still being taught by Li Shen-Guang, son and indoor disciple of Li Li-Qun.

Wu Traditional 24 & 13 Spear Forms
This traditional 24 and 13 spear forms were created by Wu Jian-Quan, the 24 and 13 spear forms are being demonstrated by Ma Yeuh-Liang. These form are general learnt after the sword forms. With the extension of the spear it is neccessary for the student to have a strong foundation before starting these two forms as the length of the spear has an effect on the balance of the body.
