Left Hand Side


32. Open the Fan
Left hand from low moves forward to right diagonal, breathing in
Eyes watching left hand
Right hand pushes forward, left hand pulls back, like pulling the string on a bow, breathing out
Eyes watching right hand
Spring like relationship between forward and back hand, like a fan unfolding

33. Cloud hands x 3
Right hand scoops up to left, breathing in
Right hand stays high, left hand scoops to right, breathing out
Eyes watching right hand
Left hand stays high, right scoops up to left, breathing in
Eyes watching left hand
Right hand crosses over left, breathing out
Eyes looking forward
Movements are lite, like drawing clouds

34. Toe Kick - Left
Tai Chi Picture Left palm pushes over right
Left arm circles from right to high to the left, then circles down and back to the right, breathing in
Cross arms, left arm in front, then open out both palms
Breathing out left hand chops to the left diagonal, right hand to 45 degrees of the left hand
Eyes watching left hand
Left and right wrist come together, left in front, breathing in
Breathing out left hand chops straight in front, right hand to 45 degrees of the left hand

35. Toe Kick - Right
Tai Chi Picture Right palm pushes over left
Right arm circles from left to high to the right, then circles down and back to the left, breathing in
Cross arms, right arm in front, then open out both palms
Breathing out right hand chops to the right diagonal, left hand to 45 degrees of the right hand
Eyes watching right hand
Hands join, left high pat the horse, left hand high


36. Heal Kick - Right
Tai Chi Picture Turn body, left hand crossed in front of right
Left heal kick, arms open at same time

37. Strike the Ears
Tai Chi Picture Finger tips join together to form a mountain peak
Push both hands down, breathing in
Circle both fist up to the centre of your body breathing out
Elbows lower then fists, knuckles turned inwards
Eyes watching both hands


38. Parting Wild Horses Mane x 3
Tai Chi Picture Left palm facing up, right facing down
Hands pass each other as if brushing a horses mane, even gentle movement
Left hand scoops down breathing in, right hand to left shoulder
Right hand goes down to right side, left hand comes up to left, breathing out
Arms parted by gentle turning of waist
Eyes watching low right hand

39. Jade Lady Weaving x 4
Right side
Tai Chi Picture Right hand scoops up in front of left, breathing in
Right wrist facing towards body, body circles arm from left to right, breathing out
Right wrist facing down, body circles arm form right to left, breathing in
Right wrist facing away from body, body circles arm from left to right, breathing out
Eyes following right hand


Left side
